at least 2 MIDWEEK midsummah Day Doubles, a couple Twi-Nightiz.....totaling 8-10 planned dubbles....

If, and it's a big iff...if da playiz hughnion would allow fah a buncha planned Dubble Heddiz....and if da Owniz would do so too (ideally a couple Single Admission!!)...and if da Setttemmah cawlups were utilized better (stawting pitchiz for a few of the DHs)...it could werk that they could still play 162 (ie, not shorten the season), start it AFTER the Mastiz, and still finish the Playoffs/WS before the end of Octobah

If you look at the few single admission double headers they've had this year, by the end nobody's there. People complain about a 3.5 hour game. They don't want to sit through two of them. It seems like a value but I don't think it's a draw.

Split double headers on the holidays sound great, though. I love holiday day games but it sucks that at night there's no game. This solves that problem.

Can't do split double headers on Sunday because of the ESPN scenario. Gotta be the Monday of the holiday. Which would usually be the first two games of a series rather than the last two, which is better for rainout scenarios anyway.

I also think that any such plan, should it ever happen, should be coupled with a plan to change the wild card game from a single game to a 3 game series. A single game deciding anything other than a tiebreak is ridiculous.
