yeah I came into the league 2 years ago with a HORRENDOUS team. Its a 12 team league and 4 or 5 of the teams have all the big time guys so my strategy is to try and get the next big things in the draft.

I'm not the commissioner. So when I say "trying to institute" I mean "trying to get the votes for."

Of course I've been trying to get the votes to stop awarding points for pitcher wins for two years now. No dice.

Ive been a big proponent of that. Its a vicious cycle, the teams with the big time keepers are always the guys in it at the end of the year so they are the only ones paying attention when the prospects get called up in august/september

Does your league allow you to pick up some guys who are not yet in the majors? If you're not in the race you can afford to load up your bench spots with those guys, at the expense of major league players you know you're not going to keep. That's how I ended up with Kris Bryant this year.

theres no seperate designation for them. thats why i drafted syndegaard and buxton, I can afford to use bench spots and hope they both get called up at some point.

whats the deal with buxton...what level is he starting at this year...I went gagar over him last year but he was no where near the majors...will he be a call up this year at some point?

think he got hurt last year and that set him back. i read hes a likely september call up this year as long as he shows progression at whatever level hes at.
