*On the Simpsons, what's really remarkable about this game is that it was released about the time Season ONE was in production, so many of the Simpsons well known characters and concepts hadn't even been developed yet and despite that you have here a wonderful game. But imagine what would have been had Konami and Co. released the game 3 years later?

We got a taste of it in 2003 when the Simpsons Party Pinball game was released.

Slight correction regarding "The Simpsons." I mixed up the release date with TMNT, which was in fact 1989. "The Simpsons" was released in 1991. Thus, some of the memes from the show were present, although probably not as many as there may have been had the game been produced a year later.
