    "Friday Night Lights" Discussion Here...

Since Bread and Ottis got me to watch all of Friday Night Lights, I figured we could talk about the show here, maybe discuss the plans to make another FNL from the series, etc.
"I have incredible affection and love for my audience, because my audience put me here and has kept me here for 25 years," Francesa told Radio Ink.

“There’s photo-cropped photos that are disgusting. There’s all that vile stuff there.”

Ottis, did you see the movie as well? If so, was it good? I won an Ebay auction for it, hopefully it will be good. I don't know how it could be better than the tv series though.

I haven't seen the movie, but apparently it's not very much like the TV series. Connie Britton is in it and she plays the coach's wife, but her role is very much sitting in the stands, smiling and cheering.

Given the way the series ended, I'm not sure what they do for a movie. I assume the Taylors return to Texas for some reason.

I was surprised not to see Minka Kelly in the final season. Anyone else? They barely even referred to her character.

At least we saw someone running on a football field on TV who was supposed to be Smash Williams.

I was kind of surprised, because they brought back some of the other characters that had been in previous seasons. It's possible that they wanted her to film she was shooting Parenthood, another NBC show she's a fairly regular character on.

I thought that in the Season Finale they might do a thing looking forward a year or two and

. It was such an enjoyable show that I don't know what they'd do for a movie as well FE. So many characters I enjoyed on the show, it'd be hard to cram them all in.

I guess it was time to move on

It wouldn't have fit well with how Riggs and Tyra ended up either.
