Problem is, most cities don't have those facilities. So they do have to build them from scratch.

But I sawr on WSJ that the Olympic stadium is built to be mostly disposable. It seats over 80,000 but after the Olympics, can be partially torn down to a venue of about 25,000 seats.

Slightly like what they did with Atlanter...retrofitting into a baseball stadium.

Darren Rovell, who is a huge dick mostly, but he knows quite a bit about this and he's posted that US paid 1 billion and had to tape delay the Open Ceremony. It's also the smartest way to make the most money...it's all about money.
