i see what you're saying, but to cut it that much, in this day and age is an insult. if i were him i would be out of my mind irate. its a slap in the face to everyone. i highly doubt the price of pit passes and the grandstand got cut. im mad over this. nascar just does not give a shit and needs to stop cutting the throat of short track racing.

I hear you. Someone explained it to me as: A bunch of these Tour teams are going to race MRS races and Open comp shows for 2-5,000 to win, so from a business standpoint, some Tour race promoters are saying if they want to race for less money, then we'll lower our purses too.

thats the appologists point of view, always has been. you want to keep your guys in line, then pay more. and its stupid to begin with because racers want to race. USAC tried outlawing their guys, it almost killed them. that and tracy hines racing outlawed events as "Luke Warmwater". happened in dirt mods too, until the group doing the outlawing figured out they didnt have the clout to be effective. it just hurts
