Interesting...I'd move Girardi down to the next list...like him a lot, but believe he's reached his ceiling and has significant value...I'd take Dubinsky out of the "rather not" list and put in McIlrath...big, mean, tough defensemen are tough to come by....NYR haven't had one in a long time...

I have a feeling McIlrath is near "untouchable." Rangers have a lot invested in him, and they don't really have a player like him that I know of in the system.

I almost wanted to put Erixon in the "untouchable" list but I don't think he's quite there yet. Also, I should have put JT Miller in that first list.

Also, only reason I put the Girardi in the untouchable list is the Rangers are built on goalie and defense. You don't want to weaken that.

I don't think Erixon is there yet either...plus, then when you get done with the list, you have too many "untouchables" and would be tough to swing a deal for a 1st line guy...
