Knicks need to make two moves:

1) Hire Jerry Sloan as coach
2) Trade Carmelo Anthony for Kevin Love and Ricky Rubio

ND even with the new additions to the 4 team playoff scenario has an in while being an Indy, so it's not like THEY HAVE TO join a conference, so they can stay put with their sweet heart deal.

If ND affirms to being Indy, and 2 ACC teams go into B12 that opens up slots for RU/UConn. It'll give the ACC the NY Metro Market from RU and the Basketball Prowess from UConn although I don't think the Mens Huskies will be anything special with sanctions and the whole program in turmoil.

ND is gonna remain independent as long as there is no stipulation saying you have to be a conference champ to be a part of the playoff.

I saw those rumors about FSU/Clemson as well, but ESPN just extended it's deal with the ACC yesterday and the FSU AD came out and denied all rumors. I know that means nothing, but they remain committed at least for now. And even if they left for the BIG 12, the ACC would still have 12 teams. IDK honestly if they would add RU and UConn.

Don't worry about Uconn hoops...they will be fine...

What a waste of time this Knicks season was, and it's not going to get better. Why even get optimistic about this sorry franchise? They won't make the tournament next year which is going to be difficult because of all the guys who have declared/transferred, but after that why would the situation linger? Even if Calhoun is not there they will get a big time coach and remain a top program.

Calhoun is the type that as soon as he leaves I bet some stuff comes rising to the surface and the program faces much bigger penalties.
