I remember going to games in the late 90s while the south side of the stadium was still open and they fired off a badass cannon from on top of that grassy knoll whenever Rutgiz would score - I take it they still do that, but somewhere else within the stadium now?

Yes, the canon is still there and I went to games back then as well...good old days, we parked RIGHT next to the stadium, would walk right in at kick-off and sit wherever we wanted...with 10 beers down our pants as well of course....

Ugh, if you subscribe to MLB.tv, with the At Bat app you say you love, you can watch a condensed version of the Met game (or any game) in 15 minutes. Your show starts at 1:00.
