in some ways I am actually more upset/angered by the Reyes tribute than the acknowledging of Chipper.

Reyes left the team in the middle of his career to go to a rival - and is still currently in his prime and trying to beat the mets for the foreseeable future

At least Chipper announced his retirement and this is like the send off for him

Mets never offered a Reyes a contract. He was a multiple all star and batting crown champ. He went to a rival who isnt really a rival and he went cause, like all of us, they offered him the most $. I dont think a video tribute is in poor taste
