He seems very bitter toward his time there. I went when they signed him but I guess the Kotite years and the booing got to him. Plus everything Ive read suggested he was a classic locker room politician while he was there.

Eye for an eye, which I dont mind, but if Alfredson plays tonight or game 4 it should automatically negate the suspension.

Yeah, it's hard to buy into it...but I do see that side. How hurt a guy gets could directly relate to how hard the hit was..I guess that is their reasoning.

The fact that he said if Hagelin didn't have such a clean record it would have been more is bizarre...so he could have gotten 5 games which equals 10 in the reg season? For that? Crazy..

yeah, if they are basing the 3 games on the severity of the injury Alfredson got then, if it isn't as severe as originally thought, they should at least reduce the suspension ...

... but again, why I hate the result rather than the act dictating the punishment.

A guy could just land awkwardly and get a concussion from a minor contact, or land in a lucky fashion from a major one and not get hurt at all
