Thanks everyone for all the concern and well-wishes. It's over now, so nothing we can do except fight United for the money back. My husband said we should go back to Puerto Rico another time, which would be nice, but hopefully he won't eat Chinese food the night before we leave

I mean, really, the one guy you are talking about it Ike (who, by the way, is still hitless this year)

Other than that the subs were for injury (Cedeno for Wright) or a platoon (Harriston for New-in-heis) or catcher with a day game after night game coming up (Nick Eeis for Thole)

But it was an atrocious lineup... You could smell loss from a mile away...

That is really where the Mets are going to have problems this year, and **** called it a few weeks ago. Lack of depth and made worse by the fact that Ike isn't hitting.

I was going to do that, but I changed my mind and got the 4S. The guy at the Verizon store said it may be out in August or Sept. I don't care all that much, I'm happy with this one.

yeah, I think for the Mets to be successful they will need at least 3 of Murphy/Wright/Ike/Bay/Duda to be hot

and right now, with Wright out, you maybe have Murphy hitting, that's it (Duda has the 2 homeruns but that is basically it)

well, that's kinda what I was getting at - you need at least 3 of the 2-6 hitters to be hitting at once, and realistically you can't expect much out of the #5 hitter, so it is 3 of the 4 that need to hit ...

so when one of them is out it is almost impossible

I don't know not a faw gee partaker yet. Actually thinking about going over today...as sad as it is the road trip down to Florida when I couldn't get the faw gee chip to work on my computer I was lamenting the fact I didn't have the ordio roadshow to listen in.
