Most people down there wish it was in a different location as well. Most of the real estate down by the bay in St. Pete. was already occupied. A lot of Tampa residents have bitched about having to cross the bay for games.

Of course when they drew up the plans for the stadium, the current commish told the city when they expanded they'd get a new team (or when someone had to move). That commish was gone the following year or so. It makes me sad that they can't fill the place. I don't think the stadium is that bad - but waiting a few yrs before building the stadium would've been a wise move.

If you insist on this opening "opening night"(which meant more when it was a Sundee going into a Mondee), open with the reds. If you want to go overseas, open with the reds.

Its simple changes, but sad little ones that the fans should at least keep and hold dear. I suppose that will all happen again with the sea change of interleague ALL YEAR LONG
I agree. Bud is such a POS. I might dub Selig's name into that Gregg Williams tape.

Yes, definitely. Johan will likely pitch maybe 15 or so games in Citi this year...Wright, Bay, etc... will likely play 81 games there.

I would have lowered the fences to be consistent all around and made RF less of an indent

especially after Reyes wasn't going to be resigned, might as well make it a bit more neutral ... helps Duder and others play the outfield too.

Overall I like how it is now more than the old way, but I might not have been as extreme as they were

Yeah, I'm kind of werried about Hollie too. It might be Elise though, who knows. I can't stand DeAndre either, he should be the one to go home but I have a feeling they would save him.

i would be stunned if they let deandre go home...the judges go gagar for him...you could be right about elise...i just figure if shes in the bottom she'll sing zeppelin again and theres not way they send her home after singing that.

so they save this week...bink bink boom 2 go home next week...and we aw headed faw da end of the show
b/s that big guy got kicked out they lost 2 one week already so I don't think they will do 2 kicked off the week following the save

so they are definitely going to use it

I think it is actually ok to use prior to the top 3

Agreed.

It's still a pitchers park I'm sure the place won't play like YS.

I agree, with Jermaine out only one should go home after a save. I think the save is only good until the top 5.

I just think its a terrible, yugely terrible, ideer to have the left field wall exist as such an anchah to the profile and character of the park and then two years in slap some shit seats in front of it and take it out of play forevah. Its either terrible foresight or terribly reactionary. RF is just wire fences so you have some play with that. You could have lowered the square footage of the park while making LF still a challenge.
