In many ways, in 2012, it's better to be a fan of a team outside your area than be a fan of a team in your area.

As a Met fan in Philly, I can watch nearly every game (every one except the Phillies games and the ones on Fox) online anywhere I have internet. Met fans in New York can see all the games, but only on a TV.
