My buddy last night said the same thing, He'd love to see Kreider in NY, would hate to trade him to CBJ, but he'd be OK if it was for Ryan.

And after seeing that wish list, I don't want Nash either. I was lukewarm about this from the get go. The Rangers have worked hard to develop these guys, I don't want to see them go tear it apart in these types of trades again.

one thing I do agree with is all the talk of "Melo has to defer to Lin?", or "can Melo play with Lin?", or "trade Melo!" is rediculous

It's been a great story and love his attitude and nice to see a PG take the ball into the lane and create for teammates, etc. .... let's see how it all fits together - I still have concerns how Melo and Dan Tony mesh

Agree...was listening to XM's Home Ice yesterday and Phil Esposito has the afternoon show...they were talking about NYR/Nash...he completely dismissed Dubinsky as any sort of attractive piece in a deal because he only has 6 goals...I'm saying to myself, fine...Dubinsky is one of the last guys I want to deal...he's so much more on the Rangers than "just 6 goals"...

However, I hate people who say "I can't follow the puck." Really? My son is 3, he follows it with no problem.

I'll be honest, since I've been watching it for so long and I play the game, I'll follow the players more, because I can anticipate where the puck is going. I don't follow the puck like you would a ball at a tennis match. I kind of take it all in. I'm sure I'm not the only guy who watches it that way as well.
It's a lot easier to follow in HD, but I can kinda understand that in regular def, it wasn't always easy to track the puck - and if you didn't grow up watching hockey you can't always know what player to follow

I don't follow basketball at all (duh) but if Carmelo Anthony is on the Knicks last night, does Lin stand there with the ball and take a crazy shot or does he give it up? And if he does that and Anthony is on the team, does he (Anthony) sulk about it, even though they won?

it's a completely different situation if Melo is on the team. Melo is one of the best 1-on-1 players in the league so you would probably clear out for him or have Lin try to break down the defense for a pass (though I think his concern last night was he didn't want to do that and then get bottled up/unable to pass)

I think as long as he gets his touches and the Knicks win, Melo will be fine with Lin controlling the ball more. He will still get some isolation plays set for him but he needs to move without the ball a little more now to benefit from Lin being able to break down the defense. I think he will adjust fine because that will lead to a lot more open looks for him

yeah, he had an and-1 play before that, then on the last possession, off an offensive rebound from Chandler, Lin called a clear out and hit a 3 at the top of the key with 0.5 seconds left

It was great. We decided this year to forever forego Valentine's Day gifts and pageantry. I like to bring flowers home 2 times a month and we try to treat each other great everyday.

last night...

Calderon was beasting and the Raptors were dominating for 3 quarters. I don't compare him and Tebow but that was a Tebowesque performance.
