Speaking of weird dreams ( from the tags)....last night I had one of the strangest fucken dreams...i dreamt i was in a room with a lady raising a half snake/half human baby...i woke up afraid...so bizarre.

is megaupload the largest? I mean there's so many of them and I don't see a majority using one particular type of service

I think they were the largest yeah, but there are so many others out there it won't even make a dent.

Basically. Like I said, there are so many other ones out there (and better ones, so they say) that it won't matter shutting down one. Once a file creeps out there (recently let's say Moneyball DVD leaked out before it came out) was in a million different spots, this isn't like the old days when everyone sat around on Napster for a file to show up.
