Why is it stupid to think that Peyton should retire right now? neck injuries are nothing to mess around with and Peyton has nothing left to prove...he has a superbowl ring. He has the money, and the legacy.

I wouldn't do it.

If he was healthy though they would instantly be a top seed.

If I were Peyton Manning no way in hell do I go to the Jets with a neck injury. He saw how the Jets offensive line let Sanchez get pummeled this year.

Agree...and I don't even think the Jets have the money to make that deal happen regardless. If anything Peyton would go to the Redskins or another " now" team....

You'd appreciate this: I spent three hours just now with two and a half bottles of wine, salmon, big salad, bread, seltzer, and a good friend talking about the problems of the World and our respective financial and physical well-beings and he dropped me home and now I'm full of wine and the Board.

Hope you and everyone are at WORST warm and well-fed.

I had pretzels for dinner...And I like the part about the wine and salmon, but I don't like the part about the problems of the world and financial stuff...I don't like talking about real life.

Three hour chemistry class tomorrow and Saturdee.

The textbook is $180 on Amazon new. A little cheaper used.

Good to hear.

I'm enjoying school despite my complaints.

My English teacher must take some crazy drugs.

I agree. I think there's a good chance he never plays again, he's had what 3 operations in less than two years? Not good. I forgot who it was but, somebody else had a similar injury to Manning and was forced into retirement.

Great, not good dinner. '03 Rioja. '01 German Spatlese Riesling. half-bottle David Bruce '09 Pinot Noir.

This fog and mist and everything added a nice air of the British Isles. Felt like I was in the "The Thin Man" or some ...

Pass me a cigar, Junkie.

OR at minimum, a virtual smoke.

Today she had some random kid come in and perform a skit he's working on and sing a song. It was like a bad American Idol audition.

Then we continued our discussion of some short story. It included how the husband might be bi/gay (one of the reasons was how light coming through the curtains and landing on the bed made it a periwinkle color so maybe he's gay) and how "engorged veins" in his arm might be symbolic for his engorged penis because he's dominant.

I felt like I was in nevah nevah land.

perhaps I'm crazy but i see manning going out on his own terms. i feel like if he gets replaced by a rookie, he's going to want to go out showing he still has it. even if he didn't get replaced, actually, i think he'd want to show that he still has it. i'm not saying he should go to the jets. but if he did, i think they'd be contenders. maybe i'm crazy for thinking that too.

Big fan of the Pinot Noirs. And the Rioja's are VERY underrated...
