it was a perfect example of how far The Office is falling off. I was reading an article on Grantland killing The Office saying that it went from a stellah show about the going ons in an office environment and turned it into a sitcom(y) show where hilarious whacky mishaps ensue and lead to a nice little conclusion at the end of the half hour. That's spot on. That's why the british version is better. It was only 12 episodes and it was just about the actualy office and seemed very realistic. When a show is on for 7 years with 24 episodes a piece, it's difficult to do so.

I still love The Office. I think it got away from being "the office" a little bit, but I think it has rebounded this year.

I think now it is a very different show than it was in the first few years ... and while not as good as when it peaked it is still better than like 98% of the shows on TV
