LAKEWOOD — A 24-year-old man has been charged with trespassing after police say he went into his neighbor’s home to use a computer to view pornography.

Richard L. Jones of Buckingham Drive entered his neighbor’s home while the 91-year-old resident was out of the state, according to police Detective Capt. Paul Daly.

Jones’ grandmother, who lives next door, was looking after the home while the resident was away, he said. Jones apparently got the key to the home and went inside. Police were tipped off to Jones when he called the neighbor’s son to find out when the man would return to New Jersey. The son then called police, he said. Officers who responded looked through a window and saw Jones on the computer and watching pornography, Daly said. Bail for Jones was set at $2,500 and he was sent to the Ocean County Jail in Toms River. Police did not provide a photograph of the suspect.
