The Mets radio booth is still old school in that both guys are broadcasters (in the traditional sense) and do play by play. TV booths, and radio booths in football, have moved away from that, as has the Yankees booth.

Maybe it's time for the Mets to do that, and give the analyst job to an ex-jock instead of a broadcast professional.
