The whole "it's ___ it's ___" isn't a parody. It's more of focusing on one specific thing he says.

With and and and somers, there's a plethora of things to work with.

With Malusis, it's just one thing and it's not particularly conducive to a lengthy script.

That's a really tough spot for you, unless you get the cable package where you can watch all da Met games. It's tough to grow up rooting for a baseball team whom you can't watch regularly, while there is another team whom you can watch regularly in your own city.

I grew up in the Philly suburbs on the Jersey side, and the only way I was able to become a Yankee fan was that we were lucky enough that New York's WPIX Channel 11 was broadcast in our area back in those days, so I got to see half the games every year or so as a kid.
