I heard the caller call Mike yesterday and reveal that his Heisman ballot didnt include RG3, who most likely will win now and his defense of it really p*ssed me off. I like to think Im a big college guy and in no way shape or form is Luck the best player in football this year. Let me refute Mikes arguments:

*first off RG3 has better #'s. Higher qb rating, more td's, less ints, way more rushing tds

*mike said the stanfid talent and baylah talent are very different. Stanfid has 2 first round OL for luck, david decastro and johnathon martin, not to mention quite possibly the #1 te in the draft, Coby Fleener. Baylah might not have another guy who gets drafted

*mike said stanfids competiton was far greater. Baylah has the 8th hardest SOS in the country. Stanfid does not. Big 12 has above average teams like Texas A+M, Texas, OKlahomar, Oak St, Texas Tech, Mizzo and K St. Pac 12 has USC and Oregon. They had a 6-6 team make their championship game

*mike said Baylah played in too many high scoring games. 65-21, 56-48, 53-30, 31-28. Those are all Stanfid scores

Either mike A. Doesnt watch cfb at all and just went with the "name" he thought would win or
B. He is old school and only prefers white, drop back qb's

Wow! I didn't know they made them for babies! But that's a great job outta hugh!

Mike just doesn't like to be wrong once he makes a decision/opinion

He decided last year that Luck would win the Heisman and has to stick with that

It's the same thing like that argument re: Jeter and statistics - Mike decided 10 years ago that you can't argue Jeter vs. A-Rod vs. Nomar using only stats, so that means you can't switch and use stats now

Some moves last night... Definitely upgrading the bullpen overall... Like the trade of Pagan to San Francisco... He wore out his welcome here... Although Torres is not going to be the starter... I actually think they are going to have a competition in ST between Torres, Fernando Martinez and maybe Kirk Nieuwenhuis.
