11/19/2011 College Football Saturday and other stuff?

Home from the Caldwell/Summit football game. Bumped into Big Rex at the game; his son plays for the Summit Hilltoppers.

Summit won 34-20 and will play for a State Championship and an undefeated season, presumably on December 2nd. I can't go because I'll be at the RPI@Princeton hockey game.

It's nice to have problems like this.

I dislike Tebow not for his religion thing, but because he played for Florider.

I dont like their focus on slideshows, but apparently they cause more views

I don't like the slideshows either. Who would want to have their articles divided into 7 parts and force readers to click through all of them?

RPI band breaking out the Christmas music. IMHO, way too early, but consistent with our society.

We get some pretty good crowds for RPI viewing parties. Usually around 20, but I recall a few years where across us and the opposing school, we got something like 50. It's nice to have a good restaurant/bar manager like Miami Mike who can adjust to the circumstances.
