And we should wait to hear Paternos side before we judge????? We dont have to judge anything...if we knew nothing other than the fact that Sandusky used the Penn St program as a guise to enable him to molest children for 10 years the regime in charge during that period should STILL all be let go. But the fact that theres a 1998 police report stating he was showering with children and the witnessed attack in 2003 and he was STILL allowed around campus in UNFATHOMABLE and downright sickening.

And I cant help but agree with Mike and one of the callers yesterday, the timeline is VERY suspicious. You get the police report in 98 and the following offseason SAndusky mysteriously "retires" You then get MCQuary , who was an unpaid assistant, wintess the attack in the bathroom and not go to police and in months hes promoted to the paid staff. This reeks of a coverup from the top down. Get everyone out of there
The Ray Gricar disappearance has to be tied into this case. He did not prosecute in 1998, then wants to erase his hard drives (the laptop and hard drive being found in the river) after he went missing in 2005, a few months before he is going to retire. Either he ran away or he was killed.

Morning all.

Saw the video of Joper outside his house last night starting the "WE ARE!" chant...........and that my friends is why we are here at this juncture.

That chant seems to me, to represent the notion that the people involved in Penn State football think they are untouchable. Why would anyone harm their little utopia. They are Penn State.

Unfortunately he's gone, we put him down in April-- he was very, very sick with what was probably kidney lymphoma.

Yes, his brother committed suicide. He jumped in a river and they did find his body. I don't think Ray Gricar killed himself, where is the body?

I think (hope) that those in the crowd do not represent the majority of the student body.

I'm more shocked that Paterno was leading the chant. Delusional. This is immediately after he spoke about praying for the victims, of which, he could have prevented those children from becoming victims.

I agree with Carton, the fact that he hasnt stepped down as coach during all this says alot about him as a person. I think this puts a damper on the norman rockwell image of a coach staying in one place for 60 years and coaching into their 80's
