I really thought once they took the lead, they'd win going away, like 31-17. I was watching Cars 2 with my son in his room and was shocked to see it was 27-24 with about 8 minutes to go. They ran a fake punt that if it worked would have been a TD, if not a huge gainer, but the punter threw a bad pass.

I also got a little enjoyment out of Steve Smith standing around on the sidelines wearing a wool cap. Victor Cruz says hi.

and that is another reason I think a rotating panel might work - just treat them as paid guest spots and he wouldn't have to split the YES money with them

I listen to the post game now and then as I'll run errands or pick up dinner or whatever after a game, and you have to really concentrate and listen hard to what she has to say. It's like she can't put a sentence together.

yeah, I get the feeling people put up with her in high school etc. because she was a floosy (if posing in playboy, etc. is any indication) and didn't really like her - but she thought she was cool

First row hockey fans have to be the most annoying fans in sports. Between the yelling at players and banging on the glass...ugh. I always root for the glass to break and maybe a sliver takes out an eye. Don't want them dead, just irreparably maimed.

I watched the end of this game with my son. He recognized neither team was the Rangers, and told me, "Dad, this is not the Rangers." Then when the Bruins scored into the empty net, he was sort of stunned because the Islanders had no goalie. He's pointing at the TV and yelling, "They have no goalie! They have no goalie!"

He's only 3, but his training is coming along fine!

God, it's gonna be a long year with yer Isles tweaking. I'll just have to bide my time till the playoffs when Gaborik is playing 1 out of every 4 games and hopefully some team the Rangiz fans hate like Philly or Pittsburgh takes them O-W-T Out!
