Friends, however, does not. I was watching a couple episodes the other day. Not so funny the 2nd time around.

The first season of Friends is pretty good and holds up - the characters were a little more nuanced

Then they just made them these caricatures (Monica is a clean freak, Joey is stupid, etc.) and it went downhill fast and those episodes definitely don't hold up

I will say, however, that just for his first three seasons on SNL, and the Blues Brothers, Akroyd gets a Lifetime Exemption.

The Nixon and Julia Choyld impressions ALONE get him a HoF induction...

Its funny, my dog was supposedly a "puggle"...Puggles are more beagles with a lil bit of pug in them...but she looks like regular old pug minus the nasal problems and chubbiness. From what we can gather she is probably a reverese...a male beagle and female pug or the other way around

I like the whole movie, but how is Cab Calloway in that movie doing Minnie the Moocher in his mid 70's?

Watched Blues Brothers beginning to end with my kid the other night. Kid loves comedies. He liked it a lot. It's really a dumb movie but it's got some good gags, a few good lines, and the music is tremendous. John Lee Hooker is stellar. Cab Calloway too. Those times ain't coming back. Justin Bieber feat. Lil Wayne, Pittbull, and Keisha ain't getting it done (though I like Pitbull )
