Yup, he knows how to make things work. He's not a politician.

He's not really a Republican, he became one to ride Guilianis coat tails and he's since gone back to being independent. But other than that you're right, and he is right. The OWS numbskulls should be camping out down on the Mall...wonder if Obama would be so cool with them if they were down there ranting and raving at him.

BTW did you see the OWS crowd is flocking to docs for STD help?

Businessmen who have run successful companies know how to get things done because they were being held accountable to dollars and cents, not voters whims and desires.

Just when I thought this site started to have a shred of credibility I read a post like this. If for just one second you would stop talking out of your ass maybe you could realize the genius that is around you. "Might Succeed" you say, Well it just so happens that I have been succeeding since the second my voice was broadcast over the airwaves. Since the moment my head popped out of my mother I have had more talent then anyone that graces the airwaves. My umbilical cord would have been able to pull in higher numbers that your hero Mike Francesa. I have time and time again beaten my challengers off with a stick. I am destroying my competitors at a national level and my followers continue to grow by the second. If given even an eight of the audience of the WFAN drive time slot I would be slingshotted into the top position in radio. Those that claim my statements to be untrue should step forward, and I will beat you down with my third leg and show you that I rein supreme. So lay back turn your dial to the Dino Casta show, grab some extra tissues and prepared to be pleasured by the sound of my voice

I don't like Bloomberg but he's on the money on this one... The 1999 Legislative Amendments to the Community Reinvestment Act spurred the banks to not only provide a greater amount of loans to risky people but also repealed part of Glass-Steagal and allowed the banks to count these mortages toward investments and allowed banks to offer investment services, banking and insurance services...

When the bubble burst, the investments were worthless...

Part of the problem now is that Congress keeps giving $$ to to Fanny and Freddie to prop them up but they are still bound for failure... It's all going to happen all over again...

Good for you, SandyCat!

As far as I'm concerned, and not that you would know him, #2 belongs to Brian Leetch (although old school Ranger fans would say Leetch stole it from Brad Park). Again, not that this makes any sense to you!

Problem is so many people lost their savings on wall street and now their lifes worth is their property, and if they don't prop those two monumental failures up the property bubble will burst again and people will be really down and out and looking for blood...and they might redirect it from the banks to the real criminals.
