I was into this movie and the comic book as a tween/teen. My friends thought I was a nimrod when I used to buy the new issues because it wasn't popular as a comic book, or now that I think about it, the movie wasn't blazing any new trails either, or the tv show for that matter. I think I'm starting to understand why I wasn't popular as a teenager, a young adult, or pretty much any time in my life now that I think about it.
