An open letter to the moderators and members of TMF.com:

This morning I was alerted, via a PM on Facebook, to the fact that Funtime has been banned indefinitely. This is an official ban that has been handed down from the moderators of this site.

The origins of this forum were as a place free of moderators overstepping their boundaries and quashing the free exchange of ideas. Like everyone here, I do not agree with everything that is said by people, but I enjoy the fact that we are able to discuss our differences and learn about each other.

Like America, we are a diverse group. We are Yankees fans, Mets fans, Red Sox fans, Phillies fans and many more. We are Giants fans, Jets fans, Lakers fans, Knicks fans, Nets fans and Bulls fans. We are rich and poor, black and white, atheist and theist. We come from a multitude of backgrounds with different ideals and ideas, yet we come together with the freedom to discuss this and have, as a result, made this place what I consider to be the best forum on the internet.

The Funtime ban runs completely counter to the ideals that have made this forum great.

I implore the moderators to lift the ban. I implore the members of this forum to express their feelings on this decision and let the moderators of this site know that they made the wrong decision.
We cannot allow this decision to stand. I hope the majority is with me on this.
