I am just hopeful that people will one day wake up to the truth and decide on their own to reject the biggest advocate of bigotry, lies, paranoia, superstition and general lies ever to be created by man.

Sadly, not in this life time. Stupidity and fear far outweigh rational thought on this piss-poor excuse for a planet. In god's own image? Not much of a creator.

I think the philosophy aspect of religion is the most useful part and the teachings or ideas can certainly be applied positively in society. Unfortunately, it is my impression that a majority of people don't think of religion in that way.

Trying to figure out more meaning to the world and a source to draw comfort from I think is totally understandable and a normal human attitude. As is the desire to feel a part of community and for a lot of people religion fills that need - and 90% of the time, good comes out of it

But like anything it can get taken way to far and not respecting others beliefs and feelings on matters (no matter how they feel) is a good way to offend people and create animosity

I was raised a Christian and married a catholic ... but pretty sure if I was born in Africa, India, etc. I would likely have different beliefs now ... but I do feel that to look at the sunset or think of the complexity of a living organism and not feel there is something larger out there and there is no meaning behind anything is hard for me to get

IDK about the cap space but with Amares long term health always a topic of discussion with the knee and stuff I wouldnt mind giving him up for a guy like Dwight who is younger and the most dominant center in the game today. Billups will end up being gone anyway and Fields pissed his pants on the big stage this year.

My personal beliefs are that we should exterminate the reply to all feature on e-mail. Doing this would make the world a better place. For example, yesterday was take your child to work day. One mass e-mail came out this morning, thanking everyone for their efforts. As of 9:35, about 75 people have replied, telling us that little Jimmy or little Joan enjoyed the day. Those who are against the reply to all feature are called Antireplytoalls.

Or at the very least have it disabled for mass e-mails ... or e-mails with more than say 10 e-mail addresses on it
