Problem is that if Jeter is telling Girardi he needs to bat in the top of the order, then they have every right to boo him. The whole contract debacle kind of gave a new light to the Jeter situation. #selfishderekjeter #firejoegirardi

Agreed, it's probably too soon but after 50 games, if he's not productive then Girardi has to move him down.
