Someone I work with was harping on that today. Jeter swinging with Gardner running. Me, I can't fault a guy for fying out a step or two from the wall.

Swisher may pad his stats but he's not unique in that a lot of these 25-40 home run hitters crush terrible pitching all year and fold against quality.
