With my Mexican heritage, I almost have to adhere to two separate but equal principles:

1. The Americanized Hard Shell Taco (aka the "Taco Bell"): Hard shell, ground beef, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and sometimes onions. Usually topped with a sauce-ish salsa.

2. The Hardcore "Street Taco": This is the tacos for which Mexico is more familiar: smaller soft corn tortillas, chopped meat of either carne asada/puerco al pastor/lengua/etc, onions, cilantro, and a tomato based salsa.

Now I'd be fool to say that I would dismiss the Americanized taco as heretic (who am I, RD?), and in truth I love both kinds of tacos! Tacos are tacos... and people can throw all kinds of fun twists into tacos, such as the Korean BBQ trucks. Yum!

Stawting has now made me very hungry. I wish I could go over and take some of that ground beef off your hands.

I had two crunchy tacos for "breakfast" at about 11am, because I hadn't eaten since having two crunchy tacos and a soft taco for dinner last night.

For lunch in about a 45 minutes, I'll probably make a soft taco.

My roommates have been eating nothing but tacos for dinner the past few days.

And it still looks like all the taco meat and fixings are still there.

I don't think it's quality, but it's among the healthier options for fast food, as long as you know what you're doing when you order.

Plus, it's not terrible.

How about I give you a taco.

Now I'll take the taco you owe me for mentioning "baseball" in your podcast last year.

Now we're even.

Ooooh, that is a good question! Is the fish fried or grilled? I think either way that's a taco. I was in Ensenada once eating tacos like that... good times.

To show that it's his wallet.

I think the story is he left the wallet at some floozie's house and she took pics of it to prove she sat on him.

Yeah, the Northwestern fans were really really great. It had me thinking why didn't I apply to this place? Great academics. Big 10 football every saturday. There were some cool girls sitting in my section. Oh well.

Eating fish from some street truck is a dicey scenario.
