Why does Mike think that the NFL lockout is affecting in a negative way tv ratings for other sports? How would that possibly work? People are annoyed that the NFL players are locked out and that no free agent signings have happened, so baseball ratings are down? How does that make any sense at all?

I could understand the lockout affecting the NFL draft tv ratings, of course. I could understand it affecting perhaps the pre-season games, and maybe even the regular season games potentially.

But the like baseball All-Star game is impacted? The NBA finals? I don't get it.
