This morning when I turned on the TV it was on ch. 1035 for some reason, which is some version of ESPN. Mike & Mike talking about Favre going to the Eagles . Then the little Mike goes, "Up next a trend in sports I don't like and I'll tell you about in 3 minutes." Honestly, I was interested in hearing this, but I'm not waiting 3 minutes for it .

And I LOVE my 3 day weekends this summer, but I hate Monday mornings now. Friday I took my son and stepson to a little water park 5 minutes from our house, then we walked around the marina and checked out some boats. Saturday was a graduation party....ehhh, not a lot of fun for me, but the kids had a good time. And yesterday my son and I had a day to ourselves, we went to the LI Train Museum then to Bertucci's for lunch. Pretty good day.

Sounds like a STELLAH weekend.

I would think that Cro and Santonio are 1 and 1A. If the Jets are about defense first under the Rex regime then you're not gonna be as good defensively as last year if you don't bring Cro back. Then between Holmes and Braylon...Holmes just gets more separation. I love Braylon too but that's just the way I see it.

Have to give the $ to either Holmes or Cromartie...one of them is going to get a mega deal too rich for the Jets blood. Free agency is going to be insane

I think Edwids wants back in a major way. The real interesting aspect is the Petah King angle where he says Asomughas first choice would be the Jets but they'd have to commit to having 1/3 of the teams salary tied up into the CB position

The Eagles have been interested Asomugha. They are the kind of team that attacks quickly and surprisingly in Free Agency.

I would think that's just an impossibility....just like you can't have two franchise QBs on the same team. Can't tie up that much money in one position and expect not to get hurt badly somewhere else on the roster.

Exactly, I would rather have Holmes than Edwards, but Edwards isn't a lug either. Him and maybe a Moss or Plax, it would be a good 1-2.

Boomer was talking that there are a bunch of teams that were well below the salary floor last year that will have to spend a ton of $ just to get to the floor, so you could see teams like Tampa throw money at a Homes or someone because they have to spend it on someone

I agree but thats also the reason why you cant throw big time $ at Cro to make him stay. Too many other areas to shore up (RT,WR, D-line depth, safety) Its a shame Kyle Wilson came on so poorly last year
