He was cut by two other teams earlier and was in the D league. The Knicks picked him up towards the beginning of the year when Shumpitt got hurt just to have an extra PG. He's been at the back of the bench for most of the year and got in some garbage time in a few games and looked halfway decent so Dan Tony gave him a shot since the other PG options basically sucked at the job (specifically Tony Douglas)
