I always miss the good stuff. I was enjoying Shannon Sharpe's interview. Actually heard him two times in a row, he was with before .

Rangers are very high on him, have a lot invested in him being a good player because the pick was first guessed by everyone, especially with a guy like Fowler still available. Also, you said Kreider for Carter was "laughable," are you saying he could be had for 2nd tier prospects like Bourque and Thomas (who the Rangers are down on since that prospects tournament in pre-season).

I think given his track record with Philly and his rumored behind the scenes grumbling in Columbus he doesnt warrant a grade A prospect. Thats just my thinking though. If Im CBJ I start by asking for Stepan and Hagelin and go from there, but again thats just me cause I love Stepan. I also think Carter would be money on a team like the Rangiz where he doesnt have to be "The guy" and he gets to still play in a big spotlight.
