Superbowl Prop Best

Looking through the Superbowl Prop Bets this morning.
http://www.grantland.com/story/_/id/...ale-nfl-season

Some I like:

How many players will attempt a pass during the game?
Over 2.5: +290
Under 2.5: -350

-> like the over, all you need is one trick play or one QB to get hurt and you win

Will either team score in the first 5.5 minutes of the game?
Yes: +105
No: -125

-> I like the "No" - just expect some feeling out and Giants haven't been a quick scoring team doing more damage later in the games

Alternate Giants Lines
Giants -3.5: +210
Giants -7.5: +400
Giants -10.5: +550
Giants -14.5: +800

-> think the -3.5 line is interesting. If you think th Giants will win, by willing to go just over a field goal you can get good odds

How many different Giants will score?
Over 3.5: -140
Under 3.5: +120

-> kicker does count as one, so if they get a running TD all they need is a td thrown to 2 different players to get the over

Which player will score the first touchdown of Super Bowl XLVI?
Hakeem Nicks: +700
Victor Cruz: +800
Ahmad Bradshaw: +900
Brandon Jacobs: +1200
Jake Ballard: +2000

-> like the odds on Ballard

Will Corey Webster intercept a pass?
Yes: +400
No: -500

-> He's had some big ones over the year, +400 on yes seems tempting

Which team will use a coach's challenge first?
Giants: -110
Patriots: -110

-> for some reason I think Coglin will use at least one

Who will have more receiving yards?
Victor Cruz -8.5 yards: -110
Wes Welker +8.5 yards: -110

-> as much as I like Cruz I don't think Beelichick will let him beat them so I'd take Welker as Giants tend to give up a lot of those over the middle passes

How many times will Peyton Manning be shown on television during the game?
Over 3.5: -110
Under 3.5: -110

-> gotta be the over

I always miss the good stuff. I was enjoying Shannon Sharpe's interview. Actually heard him two times in a row, he was with before .

I wasn't able to respond to your query about McIlrath yesterday with all the bawd issues. Rangers are very high on him, have a lot invested in him being a good player because the pick was first guessed by everyone, especially with a guy like Fowler still available. But at they had a guy like Del Zotto they loved and didn't feel the need for Fowler and the one thing they lacked was a big, crease clearing d-man.

Also, you said Kreider for Carter was "laughable," are you saying he could be had for 2nd tier prospects like Bourque and Thomas (who the Rangers are down on since that prospects tournament in pre-season).

Sharpe was on with Zaun and then a little while later with

Excellent spot both times...he talked about growing up broke & making sure he worked hard enough to get to the Pros to help out his grandmother who raised him...good stuff...

Mike loves when he can personally identify with the person being interviewed

I think given his track record with Philly and his rumored behind the scenes grumbling in Columbus he doesnt warrant a grade A prospect. Thats just my thinking though. If Im CBJ I start by asking for Stepan and Hagelin and go from there, but again thats just me cause I love Stepan. I also think Carter would be money on a team like the Rangiz where he doesnt have to be "The guy" and he gets to still play in a big spotlight.
